Using Bitcoins and becoming a millionaire is not learned overnight. Not only must you have enough time, money and cheap electricity to achieve it, but it is also important to learn the whole procedure of how to mine Bitcoins and thus achieve the fortune you have so desired.

When Bitcoin made its appearance in 2009, the process to mine or mine the world's first cryptocurrency needed little more than a home computer, and it didn't even have to be very fast or modern. Currently, the entry point for the world of cryptocurrencies is much larger and more complicated if you want to make a profit, although that does not mean that it is impossible.

There are several ways you can follow if you are interested in knowing how to mine Bitcoin. Some involve more risk and monetary investment than others, but the potential rewards are greater. In addition, you should bear in mind that nothing is guaranteed and, like any investment, it also has its risks, so be sure to inform yourself before starting your venture or making any important decision. This is what you should know.

Mining vs. investment
Before we discuss how to mine or mine Bitcoins for yourself, it is important to note that while there is uncertainty in everything related to cryptocurrencies, mining is probably the most volatile decision. Fluctuations in hardware prices, changes in the difficulty of mining Bitcoin, and even the lack of a payment guarantee at the end of your hard work make it a riskier investment than even buying Bitcoin directly.

With the volatility of the market and the proverbial bubble that burst a few months ago, currently nobody can say if Bitcoin will be worth more tomorrow than it is worth today, nor give any concrete answer on whether you will receive a return on your investment, but buy Bitcoin directly at least put something in your possession immediately. It is worth considering before deciding on the production route. But if you decided to do it, here are the steps you should follow.

STEP 1: CHOOSE YOUR MINING COMPANY

Cloud mining is the practice of renting mining hardware, and having someone else do the work for you. Generally, you get paid for your Bitcoin investment, even if the hardware is not used to mine this cryptocurrency. As with any general investment, it is important to investigate, because even companies that claim to be the best have multiple detractors and complaints from previous investors.

We mentioned two options to you: Genesis Mining is arguably the largest and most reputable of the group, and HashFlare told Digital Trends in an interview that each of its clients has made a profit using its services. But if none of those companies strikes you as attractive, CryptoCompare maintains a list of Bitcoin mining companies with user reviews and ratings.

STEP 2: CHOOSE A MINING PACKAGE

Once you have chosen a cloud mining company and registered, you must choose a mining package. That will typically involve choosing a certain amount of power, and combining it with how much you can afford. In general, paying more should give you a better return or a faster profit, although that is not always the case.

Most cloud mining companies will help you decide by providing a calculation based on Bitcoin's current market value, Bitcoin's mining difficulty, and cross-references to the power you're renting. However, it's important to note that those numbers can change, so it's important to look at market trends and estimate where Bitcoin will go before choosing your contract. What may be profitable now may not be if the value of Bitcoin is going down.

Some cloud mining companies will sell you a contract on a "presale" basis. As the name implies, that means paying in advance for a contract that won't start for weeks - or months - when new hardware is available. In most circumstances that is not advisable, because there is no way to guarantee that those contracts are profitable when they start and there is not even a concrete indication of when it will happen.

STEP 3: CHOOSE A MINING GROUP

After choosing your contract, most companies will ask you to choose a mining pool. This is where you must choose a global mining team to join it.

It is a method of increasing the chances of earning Bitcoin through mining, and it is standard practice in personal and cloud mining. There are pros and cons of different groups that are beyond the scope of this article, but joining an established and proven group at low rates is likely to be your best option.

STEP 4: SELECT A DIGITAL WALLET

Once you have completed that last step, your cloud mining has started. In a few days or weeks, if all goes well, you should start to see your account start to fill up with Bitcoin. At this point, it is advised that cryptocurrencies be removed from the cloud and deposited into a secure wallet. However, some cloud mining companies will allow you to reinvest your profits to obtain greater dispersion power. Alternatively, you can sell your Bitcoins, exchange them for another cryptocurrency, or make another type of investment. It totally depends on you.

What if I want to mine Bitcoin with my own hardware?

Due to the high costs involved, mining Bitcoin on your own is only recommended if you have quick access to cheap and abundant electricity, and a powerful network connection. But before investing in any hardware or mining setup, it is imperative that you use a Bitcoin mining calculator at all costs, to see if you can really make a profit.

If that is your case, you will have to choose the right ASIC miner to do it. While Bitmain's Antminer S9i and S9j miners are some of the most praised, there's also a lot of new competition worth considering. The OMG B3 miner was considered the most efficient in September 2018. The Innosilicon T2 Turbo is in second place, and it is significantly cheaper.

Follow the tips to download the right software and choose the right mining pool, but once this is done, start everything and start mining cryptocurrencies. Just make sure you keep checking the Bitcoin calculator regularly to make sure it's still a profitable experience.

Bitcoinnota 1 (symbol: BitcoinSign.svg; code: BTC, XBT) 3 is a protocol, open source project, and peer-to-peer network that is used as a cryptocurrency, payment system4, and merchandise.5 note 2 I don't know

It was conceived in 2008,6 by an entity known under the pseudonym Satoshi Nakamoto, whose specific identity is unknown. Satoshi worked on the source code of the reference application7 together with other volunteer developers8 until December 2010, at which time he decided to end his public activity.

Its traditional unit of account is called «bitcoin» (plural bitcoins or bitcoins), note 1 and it is used to record and transfer value, which is why it is classified as a digital currency.9. Each "bitcoin" is made up of 100 million "satoshis" which is the minimum unit of account.

It implements "blockchain" technology, which is often described as a distributed, tamper-proof, digital ledger that permanently and verifiably reflects the history of all transactions. It is characterized by being a decentralized system, not backed or controlled by any government or central bank 10 11 and its transactions do not need centralized intermediaries.

It uses a proof-of-work system to prevent double spending and counterfeiting (so that the same bitcoin is not spent several times or coined arbitrarily) and reach consensus among the nodes that make up the network through the exchange and verification of information thus solving the problem of Byzantine generals.12

Micropayment processing through Lightning Network or time stamping through OpenTimestamps are relevant applications of Bitcoin to solve problems in various fields of business.

There are two fundamental types of users: those who speculate with their price and cause their value in the markets to have great volatility, and those called "hodlers", those who consider that bitcoin will replace gold as a store of value based on its properties. digital, its immutability and scarcity. Although some economists claim that its real value is zero, that it is a bubble and / or that it shows signs of having exceeded the thresholds that would lead it to collapse, 13 14, not all agree with that opinion.
